- This weekend he asked Papi to change his Batman to the red and black one. This basically means he wanted Jose to put in the cheat codes for his game so he could have Batman in a different costume. Well Jose told him what the code was, about 6-8 numbers long. He messed up and didn't put in the right code (accidently pressed 7 twice), but Mama fixed it for him. Well, the next day we were driving along and he says from the backseat, "What was the code again? I have 3774546 (or something to this effect)." We were both kind of confused and then realized what he was saying. He had the whole code right except he left that extra 7 in there again. I cannot believe he memorized that code from us just saying it once! This little boy is smart!! I mean what 3 year old remembers a 6-8 number long code?!
- WARNING: TMI!! On Wednesday's my parents take care of Ipolito since it is my late day at work. Well, he had some loose stools and my mom said he was acting fine. She also was starting to have an upset stomach and not feel well. I thought, well great! When we got home he had one but it wasn't diarrhea. He was acting and feeling fine. He just didn't eat as much yesterday. Well, today I got a call at work from the sitter that he had lots of explosive diarrhea! He had gone in his pants (which he doesn't do normally) and was just going and going. My mom, who was feeling pretty puny herself but ok, said she would go get him for me. Again, he was feeling fine just has the diarrhea. On the way home we stopped at the grocery store and on the way I had explained to him we were going to stop real fast for some Gatorade He was super excited because he LOVES Gatorade. I had explained to him the reason we were stopping for some and how it was important to replace his electrolytes and keep him hydrated since he was a little sick. Well....fast forward to the check out line. The cashier was talking to us saying, "Wow your mom is buying you some Fruit Loops! You must be special!" I explained they were actually for me since I am pregnant and they are my "thing" right now. Well, what does Ipolito say??!! He says, "The Gatorade is for me. I have DIARRHEA! My Mama says I need to replace my lytes and stay drated since I have DIARRHEA!" I think his voice was super loud and I swear the people behind us all took a step back. The cashier was just laughing and laughing. She asked how old he was and I told her. She mentioned he must be smart and spoke very well. I say as I am nervously giggling yes he is. Ipolito was confused he wanted to know what was funny. Oy vey!!
- Ipolito loves to take home toys from Grandma's house every.single.time. we leave. My parents oblige but it is getting a little out of control. We have probably 20 "new" toys around the house. He is getting to where he will pack them up or just hide them. Tonight he brought home a football. I told him he was taking it back tomorrow and he said, "No." Later he told me he actually wanted to go to the sitter tomorrow (which he really doesn't) instead of Grandma's. This boy is too much for me!!!
Well, this is all for now. I have so many Ipolito stories.
