TWELVE Months

Misael is 12months old!  One. Whole. Year. Can you believe it?!

Misaelisms at twelve months:

•Weight: pounds

•Length:  

•Clothes: You are wearing size 12 months and 18 months. You are wearing Ipolito's pajamas that are 18 months.  I can't believe it.  Where Ipolito was long and skinny, you are short and chunky.

•Diapers: Size 4. 

•Sleeping: Sleeping...not good.  You were sleeping through the night then you got a horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE stomach virus. Now you are sleeping in 3-4 hour breaks. We aren't able to soothe you.  You aren't hungry. Sometimes you are just awake. You want to play. Ughh

•Still so serious. 

•Smiles with those cute 'ol dimples.

•Laughs often. Oh my goodness you just giggle and giggle. It is so amazing and you fill us with joy.  You laugh the most with Ipolito. You just love your big bro!

•Miso started walking right around the actual twelve month mark.
As soon you hear the refrigerator opening you make a beeline for it. For some reason you love it!

•Has 10 teeth!!!

•Sleeps on his side and belly. He loves to move all around the bed.

•Prefers to play with his brother’s toys instead of his own. He loves cars and trucks. He loves those ninja turtles, especially their heads in his mouth. 

•He stands up in the crib and we finally lowered it. You jump on the bed too. Sometimes you get carried away and lose your balance and of course fall over. 

• Really loves his big brother. He is smiling at him and gets so excited when he hears his voice or sees him.

•Loves to be carried. He loves to look around and be walked around in your arms.

•Eats: You are eating well.  You love table food. You love to eat whatever we eat. You do not like the sippy cup at all.  We haven't really pushed it in the past couple of weeks since you have been so sick but it is on the docket to get rid of the bottle and only use sippy cups.  

•Says DaDa, Hi, Ipolito (yes he says that hard name), Mama, eat, mas, oh no, kisses, yay, and many others. You also sign quite a bit. You sign way more than Ipolito ever did.  Oh and you love to clap. 

•LOVES. LOVES. LOVES. BATH. TIME.

So as I mentioned you got a terrible stomach virus at the beginning of December and it lingered for about two weeks.  You developed some condition where all you did was diarrhea all of the time from the virus.  We actually had to switch you to a soy formula for a couple of weeks until the diarrhea went away.  We ALL got the virus. It was horrible. In fact because of you at least 18 people in our family got the virus. It was that potent.
