We finally were able to get out of the house on Saturday and we ventured out to the grocery store first. I was absolutely amazed and scared by how bare the shelves were. We did not find any milk or eggs there, but that's okay as we were doing okay on both. Plus, Ipolito is allergic to eggs and Jose doesn't like them. We let Ipolito take a nap after that since he was falling asleep "driving" his car at the grocery store. Afterwards, we ventured out to eat at Hoffbrau with our nephew, Bubba (he's 25) and then went to get Jose's keg and Target. All in all a boring Saturday spent running errands, but it felt good to just be out of the house after four days of house arrest! On the sad sad we did spend quite a bit of money running those errands! :(
Enjoying some cuddle time with Mommy! He is also saying, "cheese"
On Sunday we did our usual morning routine of going to Church (praying the entire time Ipolito stays good - since we both refuse to sit in the baby room) and lunch with my parents. Then Jose took me driving around Sundance Square in Ft. Worth. I really wanted to get in the thick of things with the Super Bowl being in town. Unfortunately I had planned to do this on Friday but was unable to due to the weather. It was amazing seeing all of the people! I really wanted to get out and walk around but we thought it wasn't such a good idea since Ipolito had been sleepy. Next we went by Cowboy Stadium to see how close we could get. I must say we got pretty close before we decided to get bail. Parking at a restaurant (that wasn't even close to the stadium) was $100. I was floored. Then we saw how much it was at Six Flags and again I was floored! Ipolito got mad when we made our U-turn and told Jose to "Go back! I want to see football!"

We ended up having my nephews, niece, brother, and good friends Celia & David with their daughters come over. It was fun! We pretty much had a house divided with supporters of both teams! Ultimately the Green Bay Packers won!
