Some of the December happenings in Flores family included taking Ipolito on his first train ride to an AGGIE basketball game and a trip to the dentist to get his teeth cleaned.

As far as the dentist goes, Ipolito was a rockstar. I was super nervous on how he would act and was pleasantly surprised. Ipolito was very calm and cooperative with him. I guess it helped that I had been talking about it for a few days telling him the dentist would count his teeth and clean them for him. I almost cried (I know a bit over the edge, but I am a crier) watching how calm he was. I was so proud! I asked the dentist if everyone acted like this and he said, "No way! This never happens, especially with 2-year olds!" Afterwards we went to see Santa Claus. Again....I was surprised. He went right to him and sat with him. I got a very serious picture of him in Santa's lap. He wouldn't smile unless it was at me. Well, of course that translated to him looking down so we decided to take the serious approach and get him looking at the the camera.

Lastly, we took a ride on the TRE train to the American Airlines Center to see the Texas Aggies play basketball. Ipolito was super excited and did very well on the train and at the game. He loved eating popcorn and saying "Choo Choo!" We can't wait to take him to a football game next year!
