This weekend was a busy one that's for sure and of course Monday always comes too soon! On Saturday we went to Papi's work to do some paperwork and afterwards we went to Stride Rite at Firewheel in Garland. Ipolito LOVED walking around outside and he got two new pair of shoes! Afterwards we went to eat at Cristina's Fine Mexican Restaurant and boy was it bueno! Ipolito immediately started eating the chips and hot sauce. He loved it! He kept dipping his chips in the hot sauce and eventually started to try to pick up the bowl so he could just drink he but we told him no! So, what did he do next?! He got a big spoon shaped chip and started using it to slurp up the hot sauce. We also got some queso since he loves it so much and he ate all of that with his "pizza" or "TILLA" aka his tortilla. The boy can eat!! Of course he fell asleep on the way home and that was all the nap he needed.
You can see he is going to town on the salsa in the pictures above. Soon after he started eating it he just moved the bowl (that was mine) closer to him!
Later after we got home, we also got to spend some time with Cowboy Keenan, his lovely wife Margarita, and their beautiful daughter Genesis.
On Sunday we did our normal routine. We went to Church, had lunch at my mom's, and then had family nap time (i.e. Mommy & Ipolito nap time). Afterwards we just relaxed at home and watched some football and Ipolito sat at the computer watching his favorite, "Mickey Mouse." All in all it was a great weekend and of course too short. In the coming week, Jose and I will celebrate our anniversary and we are going to Houston just to "get away" before school starts. Here are some pictures from my parent's house of Ipolito playing and me just playing with the camera.
See what I have to put up with?!
